AdaFest Film Festival

AdaFest Film Festival is part of AdaFest, a regional music, film, arts, and cultural festival held annually in Ada, Oklahoma. It is hosted by HMA Foundation in cooperation with East Central University and sponsored by Vintage 22 Wine Bar & Bistro.
AdaFest is FREE to the public because of generous donations from sponsors as well as the incalculable support of ECU and our many volunteers.
Festival Screening Schedule:
Saturday – Screenings will take place from 11:00 AM – 5 PM.
All Screenings will be held in the Chalmers Herman Theatre located in the Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center.

2021 Film Festival Information
We were thrilled to finally be able to screen the 2021 AdaFest Film Festival winners! We hosted a drive-in screening on the Centennial Plaza at East Central University November 4, 2021.

Rules and Terms:
The festival is open to feature-length and short formats, including narratives, documentaries, animation/experimental film and video projects, produced in the state of Oklahoma and its surrounding states (Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, New Mexico, and Texas).
The AdaFest Film Festival is looking for films of any style, length, and genre. The Festival is organized into the categories of animation/experimental, documentary, and narrative.
Works must be in English or with English subtitles. All films must have been completed by residents of Oklahoma or its surrounding states (Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, New Mexico, Texas) and be at least 18 years of age or older.
Accepted formats for submission include online screeners or .MOV Quicktime.
.MOV Quicktime will be required for screening at the Festival.
Multiple submissions are welcome. If you wish to submit more than one film, please submit each work separately.
Submissions are subject to the AdaFest Committee approval for screening.
